Juan Treviño

Juan Treviño is a talented composer, producer, and artist who has left an indelible mark on the Regional Mexican/Tejano genre. His incredible career has been enriched with new achievements and recognitions over the years.

His compositions have been recorded by prominent Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning groups such as La Mafia, La Energia Norteño, Grupo Sólido, Grupo Siggno, Los Palominos, Jimmy González y Grupo Mazz, Elida Reyna y Avante, David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, and Costumbre, among others.

In addition, Juan Treviño has received numerous songwriter participation certificates for productions nominated for and winners of Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.

Juan Treviño stands out not only as a composer and producer but also as an artist. He was a member of Grupo Essencia, a Norteño/Tejano music group where he sang lead vocals and played the bajosexto. Additionally, he produced all five of the group's albums from 1998 to 2015.

In 2013, he released his debut solo album titled "Juan H. Treviño Solo," receiving critical acclaim and positioning itself as one of the standout albums of the year in Houston, Texas.

In 2017, he revolutionized the music scene with his singer-songwriter project "Juan Treviño Fragmentos." Collaborating with prominent Tejano music artists such as Armando Lichtenberger Jr. from La Mafia and David Lee Garza from Los Musicales, he made his mark in the industry and won his first Latin Grammy with the successful song "Siempre Es Asi Feat. AJ Castillo."

Since then, his career has continued to rise. In 2018 and 2022, he received Latin Grammy nominations for his outstanding work with Grupo Alamo in the Best Tejano Album category, showcasing his constant evolution and ability to excel in the music industry.

In 2020, he was recognized as Composer of the Year at the My Tejano Awards, solidifying his position as one of the genre's most prominent composers. Additionally, he has been honored as Composer of the Year at the Tejano Mundial Awards in 2021 and 2023, reaffirming his creative talent.

In that same year, Juan Treviño broke barriers by becoming the first Regional Mexican genre artist to record at the prestigious Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Blending instruments from country and Regional Mexican styles in the song "Ya No Tenía Caso," he demonstrated his ability to explore new musical frontiers.

Over the years, he has released several albums, including "Pedazos De Mi Alma" in 2019, "Preseas" in 2022, and his latest work, "Para Empezar A Amar" in 2023. Each of these albums reflects his artistic talent and ability to captivate audiences with his music.
